Rev. Jimi Orekoya
Executive Director/ Lead Pastor
Jimi Orekoya serves as our Executive Director for Programs & Lead Pastor at BCC. He has been in ministry for the last decade serving as a speaker and minister as well as NorthEast Regional Director of Youth & Young Adults for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. Jimi's passion is to empower & equip the emerging generation of urban ministry leadership with the skills needed to take the world by storm. He is married to his lovely wife Melissa.
Rev. Melissa Orekoya
Director of Programs / CoPastor
Melissa is the CoPastor here at BCC in Mt. Vernon, as well as Director for programs & ministries. She is also the founder of Jacobs Well Woman Ministries, an empowerment project geared to bring women into the understanding of who God made them to be. She has served in various capacities in local and national churches as a teacher, minister, & administrator.
Min. Monique Scott
Director of Adult Ministries
Monique is a testimony of God's triumph. Her heart is to effectively communicate God's love through bible studies at Jacobs Well and serving in music ministry. Monique is married to her supportive husband Kareem and they have a beautiful daughter, Bri.
Min. Kareem Scott
Pastoral Care
Kareem is in charge of youth ministry development and assisting in Pastoral Care as a Deacon. He is a humble, dedicated and talented man with a heart for young people and family. He is married to his lovely wife Monique and they have a beautiful daughter, Bri.
Min. Velicia Pernell
North Carolina Director
Velicia has been serving in the local church for almost a decade. A gifted speaker and teacher, she has worked with women and college students educating them on the God who loves them and sent His Son to die for them. She resides in North Carolina and coordinates ByStorm activities on the Eastern part of the state.
Rev. Mike Caslin
Affiliate Minister
Rev Mike is an affiliate minister of ByStorm. He is a versed prison ministry provider for Juvenile Offenders & Youth Conferences speaking on transformational ministry. He is married to his lovely wife Sheri and they have three wonderful children.
